Sao Paulo, Brazil

We arrived in Sao Paulo and headed straight to our 2* hotel, confirmation in hand, ready for bed but of course its just not that easy! The hotel insisted in very broken English that they were full and we had no reservation. I on the other hand, very grumpy and tired insisted they couldn´t be full, we had paid and I had the confirmation in my hand...after about an hour of this they suddenly found a room and we were off! I´m sure we have a sign on us...cause grief hold them back for an hour don´t give them their room! We literally crashed in the room and slept for the night so we were ready the next day to explore all that SP had to offer and boy were we dissapointed! Most people we had met so far advised us to spend no more than a couple of hours here but we thought we could handle a few days, we were wrong!
There really isn´t much to see or do its just like an ugly concrete jungle! We were in the wrong part of town, it wasn´t very touristy and every where seemed to serve fish for food, i wasn´t liking this and wanted to go back to Peru or better still home! We spent the few days wandering the town looking over our shoulder and wishing the days away for our flight to Rio. The people here were so un friendly too where as in Peru they were super friendly and couldn´t do enough for you.
Worst of all we both got a really bad stomach bug or may be food poisining we´re unsure so this was no fun and added to the already not so good experiance. We got this just in time for the trip to Rio which was no fun I can assure you!
So, we headed to the airport with hardly any cash as no where seemed to want to give us money, oh dear! Fingers croosed that Rio is a better place for us!
Au revoir SP and Hello RJ!!!
